Anli Ding
Anli "Annie" Ding is a global professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. She received her BS in materials science and engineering from Wuhan University of Technology and both her MS and PhD in microsystems engineering from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg in Germany.
Ding has extensive experience in both academia and industry, with over a decade of hands-on research in semiconductor processing and cleanroom fabrication. Before joining University of Arizona, she worked as a research scientist and project leader at Fraunhofer institute, where she focused on projects on SAW resonators, GaN/AlGaN/AlScN HEMT fabrication, and quantum optics. Her work has resulted in more than 14 peer-reviewed publications and several patent and patent applications.
