Marat I. Latypov
Marat I. Latypov is an assistant professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and a faculty member of the Applied Mathematics Graduate Interdisciplinary Program. Latypov received his PhD from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology followed by a postdoc at Georgia Tech/CNRS lab in France and the University of California in Santa Barbara. Latypov has a wide range of interests in the field of materials science including materials informatics, modeling and simulation, artificial intelligence, alloy design and materials process optimization. He is the author or co-author of 30 scholarly publications.
