UA Materials Advantage Club Earns Excellence Award

The University of Arizona chapter of the Materials Advantage Club took home the Wildcat Engineering Student Society Recognition of Excellence Award at the 2023 College of Engineering staff and faculty awards. 

The club’s officers were praised for leading outreach efforts with K-12 students who are unaware of materials science and engineering yet have high interest in topics such as metalworking and semiconductor manufacturing.

The UA group empowers students to advance their academic careers and create a solid foundation for engaging the world as a professional upon graduation. They promote a self-sought increase in knowledge of metallurgy, ceramics, polymers, materials science and engineering and all its branches.
